The Statue Of Liberty


The Statue of Liberty is in New York. It was built by a French sculptor, Auguste Bartholdi, and was originally called "Liberty Enlightening the World". One of the Largest statues ever built, It was presented by the people of France to the United States in 1884 to commemorate the centenary of the American Declaration of Independence. The statue was Built in Paris and later reassembled in New York.
